The purpose of the outreach is to give cross-cultural mission exposure to the participants , bring the Gospel to the least reached people in the Northern part of the Island in partnership with local churches

This is a one month program, travelling to different towns in Northern part of Madagascar in the DIANA Region.
You will be serving with locals. Ministries are happening both in towns and rural villages.

Ministry Details

The team will be involved in different types of evangelism: Door to door, personal evangelism, organizing kids and youth event, discipleship. The team will also do practical work serving local churches and pioneering in remote villages. Showing Jesus film.


Participant Profile

The participant needs to be flexible , passionate to share the story of Jesus, love people, team player and have a willingness to immerse into another culture. Fully focused to the activities.



Accommodation could be very basic, a combination of dormitory style or in the local church building. You will be sharing a room most nights during the outreach. Please ensure you bring your own sleeping bag and mattress. Toilet facilities may be very basic and shower facilities may be primitive and/or limited only with only cold water There may not be laundry facilities, in which case hand washing is used. Each participant will do their own laundry.



You will have three meals a day, a local food: Rice with different relish with it. The preparation of meals will be the responsibility of team members , Occasional sack lunches and meals out should be expected.
Sometimes the team might eat with local people. (If you have special dietary needs - please inform us during the application process) Gluten Intolerance or Allergy, Vegan/Vegetarian, Lactose, Nut & Shellfish Allergies, Diabetic, etc.



Participants are responsible to organize their flight to/from Nosy Be Fascene Airport ( NOS) . Book your flight to arrive on the 10th of August between 06:00am and 22:00. You should depart on the 8th of September. You will be picked up from the airport by an OM team member.
The team will travel and serve together in the different towns, we will use different types of local transportation while doing ministries or taking long walks to reach remote villages.



Must have a good health physically and emotionally and be able to cope with long distance travelling and walking.



Tourist visa will be granted for any nationalities at the airport of entry, with one month tourist visa fees 40 USD at your charge.



Malagasy standard and local dialect are the languages spoken in Madagascar, you should speak average English or French and local team will do translation for you.
