Hosting local schools onboard is a regular feature of ship's life. The challenge in Tema has been to present a programme to 100 different schools. Some groups arrive very early for their programme, while others are delayed in Ghana's heavy traffic. Then there are schools that turn up with twice the number of students expected. On another day, a group may arrive without a booking, just hoping to see a presentation on board. The ship is worth a visit by children. The programme staff present the work and motivation of the Doulos, along with some of the 35 nationalities represented onboard, through stories, games, songs and much fun.
