OM SportsLink hosts a trivia quiz evening to raise money and awareness for sports ministry.
Over 100 people participated in a sports trivia evening based on the famous BBC quiz show, Question of Sport, which has been running in Britain since 1968. The event, hosted by OM SportsLink, was to raise awareness for sports ministry in a fun, interactive way.
People young and old, Christian and non-Christian participated in the event. Teams sat at tables for dinner and competed in a sports quiz that consisted of various rounds, including an “observation round” (observing details in a sport video), a “sound round” (identifying a sports sound), a “what happens next round” (from famous video clips), and a “mystery guest round”, to name a few.
Maurice Enslin, the mascot for the Blue Bulls rugby team in South Africa, attended as the ministry guest and shared his testimony. A coach from the Bophelong Sports Club also attended.
At the end of the evening, the first place team received medals and walked away the victors of the first-annual Question of Sport event. Through this event, SportsLink was able to raise money and awareness for sports ministry.
