Heart Sounds International (HSI) is a ministry of OM Arts that focuses on encouraging indigenous worship around the world. The HSI team for this project will share deeper ideas about songwriting, theology of worship and/or ethnoarts to encourage the local people to worship in indigenous styles.

The goal of this project is to help establish a stronger ideological and theological foundation among pastors and musicians, specifically concerning songwriting, Biblical theology of worship, and/or ethnoarts to better prepare them for an audio and video production studio they are planning to build.

Ministry Details

Team members for this project will facilitate a 5-day seminar for pastors and church musicians, focusing on songwriting, Biblical theology of worship, and/or ethnoarts. The curriculum for this seminar will be decided in cooperation with the trip organizer who is in communication with local hosts.

Ethnodoxologists & Biblical Theology of Worship Instructors are particularly desired. They must have academic training in ethnomusicology or theology respectively and have experience instructing others with little formal education. Those without proper experience may apply as assistants. The theology of worship instructor will coordinate with the ethnodoxologist to adapt the teaching.
